On April 22, on behalf of the Speaker of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Valentina Matvienko the RA NA deputy Aleksey Sandikov, who is a legislator representing the Russian community, was handed over a letter of acknowledgement for great contribution in the Russian-Armenian relations.

During the 34^th meeting of the Inter-Parliamentary Committee on the Armenian-Russian Cooperation between the RA NA and RF FA, which was held in Stepanavan, the Chair of the Committee on Defense and Security of the RF FA Federation Council Viktor Bondarev conveyed the letter of acknowledgement to Aleksey Sandikov.

Let us note that this year the 30^th anniversary of the establishment of the diplomatic relations between Armenia and Russia, as well as the 25^th anniversary of the treaty of Friendship, Cooperation and Mutual Assistance turns.
