On May 14-15, on the initiative of the NA Standing Committee on Labor and Social Affairs, the RA Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs and by the support of the International Republican Institute Office in Armenian two-day workshop took place. The inter-departmental final proposals on the RA draft law on Voluntary Activity and Voluntary Work were discussed.

The draft law will establish by law the Volunteering Institute, and the relations connected with the voluntary activity and the voluntary work will be regulated.

The NA Standing Committee on Labor and Social Affairs and the representatives of the Government discussed the proposals received from different departments on the draft law for the establishment of the Volunteering Institute, the complete legislative regulation and necessary toolkit. The draft law revised on their basis will be submitted to the RA Government.
