“We are trying to criminalize or turn the denial of the genocide into a crime. I should mention that Belgium is one of the first countries which fully recognized the Armenian Genocide, and we are trying to protect it on all possible platforms as much as possible. I should also mention that we are extremely concerned about the situation that happened both in previous years and last week, because, as we see, Azerbaijan is once again carrying out aggressive actions against the sovereign territory of Armenia,” Mark Demesmaeker , the Head of the Friendship Group Belgium-Armenia of Parliament of the Kingdom of Belgium, noted. The delegation led by Mark Demesmaeker is in Armenia.
On September 22, the delegation led by the Head of the Friendship Group Belgium-Armenia of Parliament of the Kingdom of Belgium Mark Demesmaeker , accompanied by the Head of the NA Friendship Group Armenia-Belgium Armen Rustamyan, visited the Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex.
