NA Friendship Group Armenia-Poland Leaves for Warsaw on Working Visit

On September 26-29, the members of the RA NA Friendship Group Armenia-Poland, led by Arusyak Julhakyan, were in Warsaw on a working visit.

There were meetings with Bogdan Borusewicz, the Deputy Senate Marshal, Marcin Przydacz, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Kacper Płażyński, the Chair of the EU Affairs Committee of the Sejm, Marek Kuchciński, the Chair of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Sejm, Arkadiusz Mularczyk, the Deputy Chair of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Sejm, Radosław Fogiel, the Head of the Friendship Group Poland-Armenia and the spokesman of the Law and Justice (PiS) ruling party of Poland, and other deputies of the friendship group within the framework of the visit to Poland.

The latest aggression unleashed by Azerbaijan, issues related to regional security and ways to establish stability were at the core of the discussions. The prospects of expanding bilateral cooperation were also discussed.

The Armenian side presented to the Polish partners the situation after September 13, noting that there are many evidences of cruel treatment of Armenian prisoners of war, torture, extrajudicial killings, as well as humiliating treatment of corpses.

A detailed reference was made to the particular brutality of the Azerbaijanis especially towards the Armenian female servicemen.
