NA Standing Committees Continue Budgetary Debates

At the joint sitting of the Standing Committees on State and Legal Affairs and on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs the debates of the state budget for 2023 continued.

The Deputy Chief of the Staff to the RA President, the Acting Chief of the Staff Khachatur Poghosyan presented the programmes to be implemented in 2023 and the priorities. The Staff of the President presented 1 billion 686 million AMD budgetary bid, instead of 1 billion 602 million in 2022 for the implementation of the regulatory authorities, the difference was 83 million 800.000 AMD, which is mainly conditioned by the counted certain percentage increase related to the change of basic change of the salary of the persons holding state positions and state service positions and regular growth of the salary. The financial quantities prescribed for all other articles are the same as this year.

The Chief of the Staff of the Constitutional Court (CC) Samvel Arakelyan informed that the structure will implement three the programme ‘Provision of the Constitutional Court Activity,’ which includes three measures.

Next year 879 million AMD is designed to allocate to the CC against 834.6 million AMD in 2022. 16 billion 668 million AMD will be allocated to the Supreme Judicial Council. The allocation of this year will be 15 billion 149 million AMD.

The officials responsible for the Ministry of Justice, the Prosecutor General, the State Control Service, the Investigation Committee, the Corruption Prevention Commission, the Anti-Corruption Committee and the Central Electoral Commission presented the programmes of the structures designed for the coming year.
