The aim of the Agreement, particularly, is to create a common aviation area, providing the availability of the sides’ markets with equal competitive conditions without discrimination and united rules, including the spheres of flight and aviation security, the organization of the air traffic, the competition, the social and environment.
The Common Aviation Area also allows expanding the air communication and developing the international aviation system, being based on the non-discriminative, transparent and fair competition between the aviation companies in the market. It will promote the adoption of the EU aviation standards, the use of the aviation rules and will develop the further cooperation in the aviation security.
It is expected that the ratification of the Agreement will be an impetus for the trade, tourism, investments and, in general, the social-economic development of Armenia, ensuring wider mobility opportunities.
