On December 5, the parliament continued the work of the regular sittings.

The deputies debated in the second reading the draft law on Amendments and Addenda to the Law on Remuneration of Persons Holding State Positions and State Service Positions authored by the Government, the adoption of which is conditioned by the need to revise the amount of the bonus paid to diplomats for diplomatic rank.

According to the RA Deputy Foreign Minister Mnatsakan Safaryan, after the first reading technical amendments were made to the draft.

The draft law on Making Addenda to the RA Code on Administrative Offences was also debated in the second reading. The Head of the Inspection Bodies’ Coordination Bureau of the RA Prime Minister’s Office Petros Martirosyan presented it. Proposals were made on the initiative from the first to the second reading.

The debated legislative initiatives were made completely in the second reading.
