On December 9, the deputies of the Civil Contract of the RA National Assembly Arusyak Julhakyan, Arsen Torosyan, Meri Galstyan and Maria Karapetyan met with the Congressional Delegation led by the Chairman of the House Democracy Partnership (HDP) of the U.S. House of Representatives David Price, arrived in Armenia on three-day visit.

Welcoming the guests in the parliament, Arusyak Julhakyan spoke about the Armenian-American effective cooperation, highlighted the U.S. support to the process of democratic reforms.

Issues regarding the bilateral close interaction were discussed, the necessity of exchange of experience in a number of spheres were underscored.

Within the framework of the visit the guests will meet with the deputies of the RA National Assembly, the representatives of the Committees, the Departments of the Staff and the NGOs.

It is scheduled that during the visit the members of the Delegation will show to the NA Staff technical support and consultation in the legislative and budgetary process for raising public engagement.
