On March 12, the Deputy Chair of the RA NA Standing Committee on Protection of Human Rights and Public Affairs Rustam Bakoyan visited the settlements of Lusashogh, Lanjanist, Shaghap and Urtsadzor of Vedi enlarged community. The Governor of Ararat Region Sedrak Tevonyan and the Head of Vedi community Garik Sargsyan.
The problems in the community are many: gasification issues, poor quality of drinking and irrigation water, and in some places, its absence, the deplorable condition of rural roads and electrical wires. The residents in Urtsadzor raised the issue of poor quality of drinking water and the lack of irrigation water. It was noted that residents often carry water in buckets. It was underscored that settlements are being emptied due to the lack of water.
The issue of the transport is concerning in Lusashogh settlement. Teachers often use taxi services to get to schools in other settlements, paying more money.
During the meetings in the community problems regarding agriculture and animal husbandry were also discussed.
The Deputy Chair of the Committee Rustam Bakoyan emphasized the importance of ensuring the safety and well-being of residents. In order to find solutions to the problems, the MP expressed his readiness to voice them with the relevant bodies.
