The Vice President of the RA National Assembly Hakob Arshakyan participated in the event titled Parliamentary Engagement 2025, organized within the framework of the 2025 Annual Meetings of the World Bank Group (WBG) and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in Washington.

The event brought together the representatives of the parliaments of dozens of countries to discuss the global economic tendencies, the existing challenges, as well as the perspectives of the cooperation of the legislative bodies and international financial structures.

This Annual Meeting serves as an exceptional platform for the parliamentarians of different countries in order the latter deepen their engagement in the international development processes, share with their national experience and jointly develop effective cooperation mechanisms at global, regional and local levels.

During his speech Hakob Arshakyan highlighted the effective cooperation of financial structures and parliaments in the investment programmes of strategic importance being implemented in Armenia, as the Engineering City, the Academic City and the Crossroads of Peace.

The NA Vice President wished success to the newly elected leading body of the IMF and WB parliamentary network and thanked the members of the previous board for effective work.
