At the invitation of the Government of India, State Government of Goa, and the United Nations in India the deputy of the Civil Contract of the National Assembly Zaruhi Batoyan participated in the International Purple Fest 2025 on October 9-12. The goal of the Festival was to boost inclusion and accessibility.
Within the framework of the event, as a speaker, the deputy participated in the panel discussions, which were dedicated to the political participation of people with disabilities, universal design, and accessibility of healthcare services. During the discussions Zaruhi Batoyan presented the experience of Armenia, touched upon the legislative field regulating the sector and the challenges facing our country.
The MP underscored the necessity of providing the continuity of inclusion and accessibility processes, as well as the importance of the exchange of experience at international levels.
The Festival was accompanied by exhibitions, cultural programmes, demonstrations of assistive technologies and innovative solutions, as well as various entertainment events.
