On November 4, the Head of the NA Friendship Group Armenia-Lithuania Arusyak Julhakyan met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Lithuania to our country Andrius Pulokas.
Welcoming the Ambassador in parliament, Arusyak Julhakyan highlighted the developing relations between Armenia and Lithuania, talked about the inter-parliamentary close cooperation, emphasizing the effective work of the friendship groups.
Thanking Arusyak Julhakyan for reception, the Ambassador congratulated her for being appointed as Head of the Friendship Group. Andrius Pulokas attached importance to the deepening of collaboration between the parliamentarians of the two countries.
Issues regarding the enhancing cooperation between Armenia and the European Union were discussed. Reference was made to the RA-EU entry visa liberalisation process. Arusyak Julhakyan noted that the Armenian side is committed to implementing the reforms stemming from the Armenia-EU Visa Liberalisation Action Plan.
The interlocutors also exchanged ideas on the regional developments and stressed the establishment of long-lasting peace in the South Caucasus.
