On November 7, the Chair of the NA Standing Committee on European Integration Arman Yeghoyan, the members of the Committee Sona Ghazaryan and Tatevik Gasparyan met with the delegation led by the State Secretary for Europe of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Ministry of the Republic of Croatia Andreja Metelko-Zgombić.
Welcoming the guests, Arman Yeghoyan highlighted the deepening of the Armenia-Croatia inter-parliamentary cooperation, As the Committee Chair observed, there is great potential for development of interaction in a number of fields.
At the meeting reference was made to the Armenia-European Union close relations, as well as the visa liberalisation process.
Thanking for reception Andreja Metelko-Zgombić noted that the goal of their visit is to develop the collaboration with Armenia having European aspirations. The diplomat highly appreciated the achievements of our country during the last years, especially in terms of normalising relations with the neighbours.
The guests presented the peculiarities of the structure of the Government of Croatia and other institutions during and after its membership in the European Union, and expressed their willingness to exchange experience in other formats as well.
