NA Deputy Speaker of Bashkiria Visits Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex

On November 24 the Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of Bashkiria Raphayil Zinurov, being in Yerevan, visited Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex accompanied by the Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Eduard Sharmazanov.

The NA Deputy Speaker of Bashkiria Raphayil Zinurov put flowers at the tombs of the freedom fighters of Artsakh heroic battle being near the Memorial wall, the 1915 Armenian Genocide Memorial and honored the memory of the innocent victims with a minute of silence.

“I am in Armenia for the fourth time and every time I experience big pain being in Tsisternakaberd. This memorial complex is a sacred place not only for Armenians, but also for the whole humanity. What happened in 1915 is the biggest loss for Armenia and all Armenians throughout the world. I find that the Armenian Genocide should be recognized by the whole world,” Raphayil Zinurov told journalists.

The Deputy Speaker of the Bashkirian Parliament has also been in the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute, got acquainted with the documents ensuring the Armenian Genocide, left a note in the Commemoration Book: “I don’t find words. I am deeply shocked. Let all martyrs live in the Kingdom of Heaven. Armenia, Armenians the Bashkirs, Bashkiria are with you.”
