On August 20 the RA NA President Galust Sahakyan met with the participants of “Baze-2014” Pan-Armenian youth gathering in Tsakhkadzor. It should be noted that “Baze” /falcon/ gathering launched on August 18. It is organized by the Armenian Youth Foundation. The participants of the gathering are about 500 youngsters from Armenia, Artsakh and Diaspora.

The RA NA President Galust Sahakyan, congratulating the participants of the gathering, recalled that in the formation stage of “Baze” he had also had his role. “We have always been sure that “Baze” project will be held and now it is getting stronger and firmer. Strong people are both respected and criticized. In our nation falcons are many in various parts of the world. They gather once a year in the framework of “Baze” for self-expression, disclosure of their abilities. Every youth gathering strengthens our country.”- noted Galust Sahakyan.  

The NA President kindly answered also the youngsters’ questions, which refer to the constitutional reforms, cooperation of parliamentary political forces, and etc. 

Touching upon the youngsters’ involvement in the bodies of state administration, the NA President underscored that more than 60% of public servers are young people, and in the National Assembly Youth Parliament is functioning adjunct to the Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Youth and Sport.

Answering the questions on constitutional reforms, the NA President noted that the issue is under discussion and the version most accepted by the political forces would be chosen. “We should go in that direction so that the political field gets stronger.”- said Galust Sahakyan.

The NA President attended also the cultural and sport events organized by “Baze” participants.
