The RA NA President Galust Sahakyan, welcoming the guests in the Parliament, noted that this visit once more proved the willingness of the two countries to strengthen and expand the multilateral cooperation.
The RA NA Speaker highlighted the role and cooperation of the Armenian and Georgian Parliaments in the international structures in the development of the Armenian-Georgian relations.
According to the NA Speaker, the two countries should more actively cooperate, draw up and implement new joint projects. Touching upon the Armenian-Georgian centuries-old friendship, Galsut Sahakyan mentioned that next year marks the centennial anniversary of the Commemoration of the Armenian Genocide, and the lessons of history do not only refer to the Armenian people, but to other people as well. The condemnation and recognition of the Armenian Genocide have an important role for the prevention of crimes against humanity.

He attached importance to the steps aimed at the deepening of cooperation between the Parliaments of Armenia and Georgia.
