On October 29 in the National Assembly the eight sitting on the theme “Armenia: Geopolitical Relations” was held.
The NA deputies, experts and representatives of mass media took part in the sitting.
The guest of the event was Andranik Mihranyan, the member of the first and second composition of the RF Public Chamber, Candidate of Historical Sciences. He has welcomed the activity of the Armenian-Russian Club, which, according to the political scientist, will promote the development of the Armenian-Russian cultural, political relations. Andranik Mihranyan has touched upon the political processes going on in the world and the situation on hot spots. In his word, the world lives a turning phase, and after the World War II the international situationhas not been so tense, as it is today. He has mainly referred to the events going on in Lybia, Afghanistan, Syria, Iraq and Ukraine. In that context, the political scientist has also touched upon the Caucasian regional problems.
In the course of the discussion the political scientist Mihranyan has also answered the attendees’ questions.
