On March 10 at the sitting of the RA NA Standing Committee on Defense, National Security and Internal Affairs moderated by Koryun Nahapetyan the participants debated and made a decision to hold parliamentary hearings on the theme “The Organization and Implementation of Civil Protection in the Republic of Armenia (the situation, problems and developments)” on March 27. Koryun Nahapetyan has noted that the theme is pressing, and through parliamentary hearings it will be possible to evaluate the problems in the sphere of civil protection, as well as to present recommendations aimed at the development of the system.

At the sitting issues regarding the visits to be organized in the near future were discussed. Koryun Nahapetyan has noted that on March 17 the Committee will be on a working visit in the Crisis Management State Academy of the RA Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations and in the Central Clinical Military Hospital. The expediency of the abovementioned visits and information concerning the agenda has been presented.
