On May 26 at the joint sitting of the NA Standing Committees on State and Legal Affairs and on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs the annual report “On the RA State Budget Execution for 2014” was debated, which related to the income and expenditure execution of the RA Power state and judicial bodies.

The RA Deputy Minister of Finance-Chief Treasurer Atom Janjughazyan presented the financial indicators of the abovementioned spheres. He has informed that during the financial year the allocations to the state and judicial bodies of the power were done completely and on time.

Talking about the key performance indicators the Chief of Staff to the NA President Vigen Sargsyan noted that during this financial period the RA President’s Staff took part in the debates of the draft laws, submitted proposals, opinions and positions. In 2014 the Staff prepared and presented about 490 certificates and conclusions, and 498 laws were submitted for the NA President’s signature. 687 decrees, 225 orders, 911 messages and 121 letters, and others were also submitted.

The RA NA Chief of Staff-General Secretary Hrayr Tovmasyan has informed that during that period the RA legislative body organized 12 next and 4 extraordinary sessions, 118 sittings of the standing committees and 18 parliamentary hearings. Mutual visits of the official delegations and inter-parliamentary friendship groups were also organized.

The RA Government Chief of Staff-Minister David Harutyunyan in his speech touched upon the functions and qualitative indicators of the government staff, highlighted the training of the civil employees and the events directed to the rise of the work efficiency.

The heads and the representatives of the RA Constitutional Court, the RA National Security Council, the RA Ministry of Justice, the RA Prosecutor’s Office, the RA Special Investigative Service, the RA Control Chamber, the RA Judicial Department, the RA Civil Service Council, as well as the RA Central Electoral Commission also touched upon the expenditure indicators and the implemented programmes in their speeches.

On the same day the joint sitting of the NA Standing Committees on Territorial Management and Local Self-Government and on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs was held, which moderated the relevant Committee Chairs Stepan Margaryan and Gagik Minasyan. At the sitting the financial allocations and subsidies given to the RA Territorial Administration bodies and communities of the annual report “On the RA State Budget Execution for 2014” were considered.

Atom Janjughazyan has noted that all the financial means, including the subsidies to Aragatsotn, Ararat, Armavir, Lori, Kotayk, Shirak, Syunik, Vayots Dzor, Tavush marzes were given in time and completely.

The First Deputy of yerevan Mayor Kamo Areyan presented the financial means and implemented programmes allocated to Yerevan during the financial year.

The speakers also answered the deputies’ numerous questions and interpellations.
