On July 7 the RA NA President Galust Sahakyan received Muhammetniyaz Mashalov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Armenia in the National Assembly.

Galust Sahakyan congratulated the newly appointed Ambassador on the occasion of the beginning of his diplomatic mission in Armenia. The NA President has underlined that the parliament permanently cooperates with the Embassies, highly assesses their role in the development of the relations of the friendly countries. The Head of the Parliament highlighted the development of the cooperation between Armenia and Turkmenistan especially in the cultural and economic spheres.

Thanking for the reception, Muhammetniyaz Mashalov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan, assured that he would do his best to develop and strengthen the bilateral relations in different spheres.

In the course of the meeting the interlocutors emphasized the parliamentarians’ mutual visits, discussed the need of implementing new programmes and touched upon issues of bilateral interest.
