On June 29, the RA National Assembly continued the work of the extraordinary session and by voting passed the bills debated on the previous day in the second and the third reading.

The NA deputies Naira Zohrabyan, Khosrov Harutyunyan, Zaruhi Postanjyan, Hrant Bagratyan, Gagik Melikyan, Gurgen Arsenyan, Artak Zakaryan, Koryun Nahapetyan continued presenting their views on the Agreement on Creation of Joint Regional Anti-Air Defense System in the Caucasus Region of Collective Security between the RA and the RF signed on December 23, 2015 presented by the RA President.

The RA NA Deputy Speaker Hermine Naghdalyan delivered an extraordinary speech and noted that Armenia, ratifying the Agreement, will receive additional resources for ensuring the security of the country. Besides, Armenia will not lose its opportunity for defending the security of Nagorno Karabakh, too.

The RA NA Factions (Secretary of the Rule of Law Mher Shahgeldyan, the Head of the ARF Armen Rustamyan, the Head of the RPA Vahram Baghdasaryan) also presented their views on the Agreement.

In the final speech the RA Deputy Minister of Defense Ara Nazaryan has noted that the creation of the joint regional system will give new opportunities and it stems from the interests of our country.

Afterwards the deputies debated the Loan Agreement on Kotayk Marz and Gegharkunik Marz Solid Waste Management project signed between the Republic of Armenia and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development on April 5, 2016 presented by the RA President, which was submitted by the First Deputy of the RA Territorial Administration and Development Vache Terteryan.

The First Deputy Chairman of the State Revenue Committee adjunct to RA Government Armen Alaverdyan presented for the deputies’ debate N 3 Amendment to the Financial Contact Border Crossing and Infrastructure /Republic of Armenia: Modernization of Bagratashen, Bavra and Gogavan Border Crossing Points/.

Afterwards, the deputies in the first reading continued debating the RA law on Amendments to the RA Electoral Code, and the legislative package on Amendments to the RA Electoral Code, on Amendment to the RA law on Legal Acts.

The Head of the NA Rule of Law Faction Heghine Bisharyan, the Head of the NA ANC Faction Levon Zurabyan, the member of the NA PAP Faction Mikayel Melkumyan presented their views on the legislative package.

In his final speech Davit Harutyunyan proposed his colleagues to vote for the package.

Armen Yeghiazaryan, Director of the National Centre for Legislative Regulation Project Implementation Unit of the RA Government Staff, presented for deputies’ debate the bill on Amendments to the RA law on Livestock Farming, on Amendments to the RA law on Trademark s and on Amendments to the RA law on State Duty, the bills on Amendments to the RA law on Geographical Notes, on Amendments to the RA law on Fixed Payments, on Amendments to the RA law on Inventions, Useful Models and Industrial Samples, on the Amendments to the RA Law on Preservation of Selective Achievements and the draft law on Amendment to the RA law on Rescue Forces and Rescuer’s Status.

The National Assembly will continue the work on June 30.
