On September 29, on the occasion of the 25th Anniversary of Armenia’s Independence the Speaker of the RA National Assembly Galust Sahakyan awarded Armenian American Philanthropist Rita Balian the RA National Speaker’s Memorial Medal for promoting the development of Motherland-Diaspora relations.
Congratulating Rita Balian, the Head of the Parliament thanked her for great contribution to the sphere of healthcare for 20 years.
Thanking the NA Speaker for the high award, Rita Balian has noted that she is proud of her origin and roots. Mrs Balian has gladly documented that during 42 years in the United States of America she could help Armenian mothers in preserving their health.
