On December 12, in Bishkek, the RA NA Deputy Speaker, the Head of the Inter-Parliamentary Assembly of CIS Observation Mission Eduard Sharmazanov met with the Speaker of the Kyrgyz Parliament Chynybai Tursunbekov.

In the course of the meeting the parties highlighted the activities of the Friendship Groups and discussed issues relating to the development of the parliamentary ties.

The RA NA Deputy Speaker congratulated Chynybai Tursunbekov on the occasion of the successful holding of the referendum. Mr Sharmazanov emphasized the deputies’ coordinated work in the Parliamentary Assemblies. Eduard Sharmazanov has underscored that the parliamentarians of the CSTO member states should not take steps, which do not stem from the interests of the CSTO member countries.

The RA NA Deputy Speaker also raised the issue of installing an Armenian cross-stone in Bishkek and mentioned his expectations for their support.
