On February 22, the sitting of the RA NA Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Youth and Sport was held.

The RA Deputy Minister of Transport, Communication and Information Technologies Boris Demirkhanyan submitted for debate in the first reading the draft law on Amending the RA law on Television and Radio.

The Committee Chair Artak Davtyan touched upon the competition on licensing the activities of the private multiplexor being announced by the RA National Commission on Television and Radio and the conditions of licensing.

The draft law with the Committee members’ endorsement will be included in the draft law of the agenda of the eleventh session of the fifth convocation of the National Assembly.
