On February 24, the RA NA Standing Committees convened sittings.

At the sitting the NA Standing Committee on Social Affairs moderated by Hakob Hakobyan a number of legislative initiatives debated and endorsed, which will be included in the draft law of the agenda of the NA four-day sittings for debating in the second reading.

The RA Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations Haykaram Mkhitaryan presented the draft law on Amending the RA Law on Social Security of the Servicemen and Their Family Members.

The Committee also debated the draft law on Protection of Rights of Persons with Disabilities and Social Inclusion, which the RA Minister of Labour and Social Affairs Artem Asatryan presented for assessment of the Committee.

On the same day the sitting of the NA Standing Committee on Agriculture and Environment moderated by the Deputy Chairman of the Committee Tatshat Vardapetyan was held.

The RA Deputy Minister of Agriculture Robert Makaryan presented for debate the bill on Amending the RA Law on Operation of Agricultural Technique with the enclosed package.

The debated draft laws with the endorsement of the Committee will be included in the draft laws of the NA session and the upcoming four-day sittings.

The revised draft law on Amending the RA Law on Tariffs of Compensation of the Damage Caused to the Fauna and Flora as a Consequence of Ecological Infringements, the bill with the enclosed package on Amending the RA Law on Preservation of Atmospheric Air and the bill on Amending the RA Law on Specially Protected Nature Territories. The debated draft laws will be debated in special procedure.

At the sitting the RA NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs moderated by Vardan Ayvazyan in the first reading debated the legislative package on Architectural Activity, on Amending the RA Law on Licensing, on Amending the RA Law on State Duty.

The RA Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Investments Emil Tarasyan in the first reading submitted for debate the draft law on Amending the RA Law on State Support of Information Technologies Sphere.

The RA NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs endorsed this draft law and it was included in the agenda of the session.

The RA Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Investments Tigran Khachatryan presented for debate the draft laws on Amending the RA Law on Ecological and Nature Use Payments and on Amending the RA Tax Code.

The RA Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Investments Emil Tarasyan in the first reading submitted for debate the legislative package on Amending the RA Law on Technical Regulation, on Amending the Code on Administrative Infringements, on Amending the RA Law on Unity Provision of the Measures and on Amending the RA Law on Standardization.

The Deputy of the State Property Administration Department adjunct to the RA Government Ashot Markosyan presented for debate in the first reading the draft law on Amending the RA Civil Code.

The debated draft laws with the endorsement will be included in the draft laws of the agendas of the NA session and the upcoming four-day sittings.
