I warmly congratulate you on liberation of Shushi and on Victory and Peace Day.

The history has repeatedly proved that freedom is obtained by victory. We have fought for freedom sacrificing blood and life, but never honour and dignity, because we have realized that without the latters there is no freedom.

The honour of the Motherland and the people’s dignity are the general guarantees, due to which our victories were born, due to which a quarter of a century ago the aspiration of freedom and justice in Shushi turned into victory, and the victory - into peace. 25 years ago in Shushi the pulsations of our heart and hand, mind and weapon were combined, which became a crucial volley of victory for the whole liberation war of Artsakh. The people’s unity and steadfastness, cohesion and spirit liberated Shushi, giving sense to the idea of victory.

Dear compatriots,

The honour of the Motherland and the people’s dignity remained unconquered in all times by all our adversaries and enemies. The spirits of freedom and dignity defenders, the devoted blood and life for victories drive us to new achievements, making the Motherland more confident and proud. On the person of today's generation, we have a firm basis and reliable warrant for that, a generation who is not only prone to victory, but also has already managed to form today's tradition of winning and creating peace as non-interrupting continuation of the Great Patriotic War and Atsakh war veterans, the created tradition of our killed and alive heroes.

Once again I congratulate you on the occasion of May victorious holidays and wish you peace, optimism and welfare.”
