On July 7, the solemn closing ceremony of the second phase of “Ari Tun” (“Come Home”) project of the RA Ministry of Diaspora took place in the Ari Tun camp in Aghavnazor,   in which the RA NA President Ara Babloyan and the RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan took part.

During the camp days “Ari Tun” participants had prepared a concert program and presented it to the guests.

In his welcoming speech, the RA NA President, expressing his happiness to participate in the event, has noted: “There is only one outcome for such events: Armenia and Diaspora together have greater possibilities to reach all-national goals than separately, as Armenia is strong with Diaspora and Diaspora – with Armenia.”

“During the days spent in Armenia, you have the opportunity to directly get familiarized with the Homeland, about which some of you might know only from your parents, relatives or from TV and the Internet”, Ara Babloyan has noted, highlighting that this visit helps them know their Homeland and become one of the reliable pillars of the Homeland-Diaspora bridge: “Ari tun” is really a patriotic and pro-Armenian project.

The RA NA President expressed hope that the “Ari Tun” participants’ contact with the Motherland will become closer, and they will be Armenia’s ambassadors in their countries and Diaspora’s ambassadors to Armenia.

After the end of the concert, the Parliament President together with the RA Minister of Diaspora also participated in the ceremony of lighting the farewell fire, in the round dance and was taken photos with “Ari Tun” participants.
