Ara Babloyan Receives Yuri Khachaturov

On August 29, the RA NA Speaker Ara Babloyan received the Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organisation (CSTO) Yuri Khachaturov, who during his tenure first time was in Armenia on a working visit.
The Secretary General visited Armenia within the framework of the CSTO Member States' visit, aiming at discussing the issues concerning the preparation of the Assembly of the CSTO Collective Security Council to be held in Minsk in autumn of this year.
The interlocutors debated numerous issues regarding the CSTO activities, further events and the new programmes.
The RA NA Speaker highlighted the CSTO role and activities in preservation of peace and strengthening of security in the region.
