On October 10, the RA NA President Ara Babloyan received the deputy of the National Assembly of the Republic of France Danièle Cazarian.
Welcoming Mrs Cazarian’s visit, Ara Babloyan highlighted the role of the parliamentary diplomacy in deepening of the relations and inter-parliamentary ties between the two countries.
In the course of the meeting the interlocutors touched upon the members of the Friendship Groups formed in the newly elected legislative bodies between Armenia and France and their activities, the mutual visits promoting the rapprochement of the relations.
Ara Babloyan and Danièle Cazarian talked about the items of agenda importance for Armenia, highlighted the cooperation in the social and economic spheres, referred to the international recognition and condemnation of the Armenian Genocide and the settlement of the Artsakh problem.
The sides emphasized Armenia-Diaspora cooperation in the vital issues for the Armenian people.
