On December 21, at the sitting of the RA NA Standing Committee on Territorial Administration, Local Self-Government, Agriculture and Environment moderated by Vardevan Grigoryan debated in the second reading debated the legislative package on Making Addendum to the RA Law on Local Self-Government, on Making Addendum to the RA Law on Local Self-Government in the City of Yerevan, on Amending the RA Law on Veterinary, on Making Addendum to the RA Law on Local Duties and Payments.
According to the key reporter, the RA Deputy Minister of Agriculture Ashot Harutyunyan, the adoption of the package will promote the formation of the Vets’ Institute in the communities, as a result of which it will be possible to provide stable and controllable cattle-epidemic situation. The problem of food safety and decent control in the circulation phases will also be solved.
The Deputy Chairman of the RA NA Standing Committee on Territorial Administration, Local Self-Government, Agriculture and Environment Araik Hovhannisyan informed the Committee members that there had been debates on the draft law with the government, and those debates would continue after passing the package.
The package was endorsed and will be debated at the extraordinary sitting of the RA National Assembly.
