Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Republic of Bulgaria to RA Visits National Assembly

On January 24, the Head of the RA NA Armenia-Bulgaria Friendship Group Jemma Baghdasaryan and the members of the Group met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Bulgaria to the Republic of Armenia Maria Pavlova Tzotzorkova-Kaymaktchieva.

Welcoming the Ambassador in the National Assembly, Jemma Baghdasaryan has noted that the Armenian-Bulgarian inter-state relations have firm historical basis which creates more effective cooperation in different spheres.

The interlocutors highlighted the close work between the Friendship Groups of the two parliaments and the deepening of cooperation on the international different platforms.

Thanking for the reception, Maria Pavlova Tzotzorkova-Kaymaktchieva highly assessed the relations existing between Armenia and Bulgaria, underlining the role of the Bulgarian-Armenian community in their strengthening.

The interlocutors emphasized the further expansion and development of cooperation in the political, economic, cultural, educational and other spheres.

In the course of the meeting the sides touched upon the official visit of the delegation led by the President of Bulgaria to be expected to Armenia and underscored the signing of the Memorandum between the Parliamentary Friendship Groups of the two countries.
