The message of the President of the National Assembly reads:

“Dear mothers, please, accept my warm congratulations on the occasion of Maternity and Beauty Day. I especially send my congratulations to the mothers with many children and women who have become mothers for their adopted children.

Mothers’ destinies are always connected with the history of the motherland. During the centuries they have incited their husbands to feats, they have been involved in the children’s upbringing with the spirit of patriotism, in case of necessity they have fought as soldiers. However, the mother’s greatest mission and advantage is the creation and maintenance of that warm family environment that during the whole life guides us and passes to our children.

This holiday is a respect towards our spiritual and moral values which are inseparably connected with mother’s character and nature, because to love mother means to love the family, the native land, the people, defend the motherland and evaluate the future.

I wish you, dear mothers, health, happiness and welfare. Let in your families be always peace, solidarity and optimistic mood.”
