The RA NA President’s congratulatory message reads:

“Dear compatriots, I warmly congratulate you on Army Day – on the holiday of patriotism and courage.

Today, we honour with special pride those, who have defended and defend the peace, freedom and independence, who fulfill with dignity the serviceman’s duty, who are faithful to their oath and conscience. Today, we once again bow before their memory, who without hesitation sacrificed their lives for secure and safe Motherland.

On the occasion of this festive day my congratulations are addressed first of all, to our soldiers and officers, first, to those who fulfill military duty shift and those serving on the frontline, as well as to all serviceman’s parents and close relatives.

I would like also to congratulate all our veterans, from the Patriotic War to Artsakh freedom fighting, from the freedom fighter to the retired military. Our today’s army is the generations’ combination of close connection, experience and honorableness.

Dear compatriots, the Motherland, moreover the statehood cannot exist without decent defense. The Motherland is strong as much, as strong is everybody’s desire to defend it. We can look at future with confidence, because we have combative Armenian army, brave soldiers and officers dedicated to their country and family, thanks to whom we live in conditions of peace and security, who ensure the victory on the battlefield and calmness in the rear, to whom we are thankful and grateful.

I wish everybody and especially our soldiers, officers and all employees fulfilling their civil work health, peace and all the best.”
