Born on March 9, 1963 in Yerevan.

1988 - Graduated  from the Yerevan Institute of National Economy. Economist.

1983 - 1985 -  Served in the Soviet Army.

1980 - 1982 - Mechanic in the “Almast” factory in Yerevan.

1985 - 1988 - Worker in Yerevan Food Complex # 7.

1988 - 1991 - Accountant.

1991 - 1993 - Deputy head of the “Haytskhakhot” Association.

1993 - 1995 - Chief engineer.

1996 - 1999 - Head of Avan District Community.

1998 - President of “Haytskhakhot” OJSC Council.

2003 - 2007 - Deputy of the National Assembly (electoral district #1.) Member of the Standing Committee on Financial - Credit, Budgetary and Economic Affairs of the National Assembly. He was not included in any factions and deputy groups.

2007 - 2012 - Deputy of the National Assembly (electoral district #1.) Member of the Standing Committee on Financial - Credit and Budgetary Affairs of the National Assembly.

May 6, 2012 - Elected Deputy of the National Assembly from the electoral district #1.

Mr. Hayrapetyan is married with three children.
