Born on January 5, 1956 in the village of Bambakashat in the Hoktemberyan region.

1977 - Graduated from the Armenian Agricultural Institute. Engineer, technologist.

1978 -1991 - Worked as an engineer - technologist in the Hoktemberyan Wine Factory.

1991 - 1995 - Head of a production unit, Director of the factory.

Since 1995 - Executive Director and the Council President of “MAP” CJSC in the village of Lenoughi in the Edjmiatsin region.

2003 - 2007 - Deputy of the National Assembly (proportional electoral system, Rule of Law party.)

Till 22 May 2006 - Member of the Rule of Law party and faction.

Since May 25, 2006 -  Member of the "Gortsarar" Deputy Group. Member of the Standing Committee on Foreign Relations of the National Assembly and then member of the Standing Committee on Financial - Credit, Budgetary and Economic Affairs of the National Assembly.

2007 - 2012 - Deputy of the National Assembly (proportional electoral system, RPA.) Member of the Standing Committee on Economic Affairs of the National Assembly.

May 6, 2012 - Elected Deputy of the National Assembly   from   the electoral district #21.

Married, with three children.
