1973 - Graduated from the faculty of General Economics of the two-year NGO University of Economic Knowledge.

1975 - Graduated from the Armenian State Institute of Physical Culture.

1997 - Graduated from the Yerevan “Vardanants” University. Wrestling Coach. Pedagogue of Physical education. Lawyer.

1975 - 1981, 1986 - 1988 - Worked at Model Shoe Factory.

1981 - 1983 - Worked at Industrial Unit of “Masis” Model Shoe Factory.

1988 - 1989 - Chief Specialist at Yerevan Confectionery and Macaroni Factory.

1989 - 1995 - Worked at Cooperative “Davit-84.”

1999 - Elected, 2002 - 2005 - Reelected Head of Erebouni Community.

1995 - 1999 - Deputy of the National Assembly (electoral district #15.) Member of the Standing Committee on Defense, National Security and Internal Affairs of the National Assembly. Member of the “Reforms” deputy group. Non partisan.

May 6, 2012 - Elected Deputy of the National Assembly from the electoral district #13.
