1985 - 1992 - Senior commodity specialist, Head of the Commercial Department, Director of the trade center in the Abovyan Regional Cooperative.

1993 - Head of Kotayk Association.

2003 - 2007 - Deputy of the National Assembly (proportional electoral system, RPA.) Member of the Standing Committee on Social, Health Care and Environmental Protection Affairs of the National Assembly. Member of the R PA faction.

2007 - 2012 - Deputy of the National Assembly (proportional electoral system, "Prosperous Armenia" Party.) Member of the Standing Committee on Financial - Credit and Budgetary Affairs of the National Assembly. Member of PAP faction.

May 6, 2012 - Elected Deputy of the National Assembly from the electoral district #27.
