Born on January 5, 1961 in Yerevan.
1978 - 1988 - Worker and later skilled worker in the Yerevan Plant of Electronic Equipment.
1986 - Elected as Deputy in Leninyan region.
1991 - Graduated from the Kirovakan State Pedagogical Institute and received qualification of teacher of Armenian language and literature. Candidate of pedagogical sciences.
1994 - 2008 - Teacher at the Yerevan Secondary School #191.
2003 - 2007 - Deputy of the National Assembly (proportional system, "Rule of Law" party.) Member of the Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture and Youth Affairs of the National Assembly. Secretary of the "Rule of Law" faction.
2005 - 2006 - Teacher at the Yerevan State College after Bakunts.
2010 - Elected a full member, academician of the International Academy of Sciences of Nature and Society (Armenian branch.)
2007 - 2012 - Deputy of the National Assembly (proportional electoral system, Rule of Law party.)
June 19, 2007 - May 31, 2012 - Member of the Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Youth and Sport of the National Assembly.
November 22, 2010 - May 31, 2012 - Member of the Standing Committee on European Integration of the National Assembly.
May 6, 2012 - Elected Deputy of the National Assembly by the proportional system from the "Rule of Law" party.
2005 - Awarded with Medal of A. Bakunts on the occasion of Teacher’s day.
2011 - Awarded with Medal of Mkhitar Gosh by the decree of the President of the Republic of Armenia.
Married, with two children.
