Born on September 23, 1967 in Yerevan.

1987 - Graduated from the Painting Faculty of the P.Terlemezyan State College of Fine Arts in Yerevan. Teacher of painting and drawing.

1993 - Graduated from the Graphic Department of the Yerevan State Academy of Fine Arts. Painter and graphic artist.

1989 - 1991 - Costume and stage designer in the “Ardzaganq” Theatre - Studio (Metro Theatre.) Designed three performances – “The Mythical Eternity,” “Antigone,” “Master and servant.”

1994 - 1997 - Worked in State Theatre of Song.

Since 1996 - The soloist of Armenian State Philharmonic Orchestra.

2002 - 2003 - Professor of the Yerevan State Institute of Theater and Film.

May 6, 2012 - Elected Deputy of the National Assembly by the proportional electoral system from the Republican Party of Armenia. Member of the Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Youth and Sport of the National Assembly.

2005 - Academician of International Academy of Sciences of Nature and Society.

2006 - Awarded the title of Honoured Artist of the Republic of Armenia.

2008 - Awarded a Gold Medal by the Mayor of Yerevan, and the “Vazgen Sargsyan” Medal by the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia.

Awarded a number of musical awards:

1993 - The Grand Prize (International Festival “Charm Show.”)

1996 - The Best Singer of the Year (award-giving ceremony “Asup.”)

2000 - “The Armenian Star of the 20th Century” (Festival “Astgh.”)

2000 - The Best Female Performer (award-giving ceremony “Anush,” USA.)

2004 - The Best Voice of the Independent Armenia (award-giving ceremony “Krunk.”)

2009 - Prize “Diva” (Annual Song Festival, USA.)

Married, with two children.
