Born on November 1, 1974 in Yerevan.

1996 - Graduated from the Automation of the Mathematical Cybernetics and Research Faculty of the Yerevan State University.

2000 - Graduated from the State Management School of the Republic of Armenia. Mathematician, specialist of territorial governance and local self-governance, State servant. Candidate of Political Sciences. Associate professor.

2009 - 2012 - Deputy of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia (proportional representation system, RPA).

October 28, 2009 - May 31, 2012 - Member of the Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Youth and Sport of the National Assembly. Member of the RPA faction. Member of the RPA Council.

Since 2011 - Co - chair of the Committee on Social Affairs, Education, Culture and Civil Society of the “EURONEST” Parliamentary Assembly.

Since 2012 - Head of the Armenian delegation to “EURONEST” Parliamentary Assembly.

May 6, 2012 - Elected Deputy of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia by the proportional representation system (Republican Party of Armenia).

Since March, 2015 - Deputy Head of the “EURONEST” Parliamentary Assembly.

2006 - Awarded with a letter of thanks from the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia.

2008 - Awarded with the Medal of "Drastamat Kanayan" of the RA Ministry of Defense.

2009 - Awarded with the Medal of "Maternal Gratitude of Artsakh" of NKR.

2009 - YSU Commemorative Silver Medal.

2011 - Awarded with the Medal of “Garegin Nzdeh” of the RA Ministry of Defense.

2012 - Awarded with the “Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia: 20 Years” Jubilee Medal (MD).

2015 - Awarded with “Mkhitar Gosh” Medal of the Republic of Armenia.

2015 - Awarded with the Certificate of Honour of the Interparliamentary Assembly of CIS.
