Born on November 15, 1957 in Yerevan.

1976 - 1978 - Served in the Soviet Army.

1975 - 1976 - Graduated from the faculty of History of Kh. Abovyan Armenian State Pedagogical Institute.

1991 - Graduated from the Trade Economics College with the specialization of Organizing Trade and Management.

1997 - Graduated from the faculty of Law from  Vardanants University. Lawyer.

2008 - Graduated from the Moscow Institute of Business and Law. Economist.

1978 - 1982 - Shoemaker, then warehouse manager at the factory of “Shoes Fashion House” of “Masis” production unit.

1983 - Workshop Deputy Head at the Service Shop of Production of fine wool.

1983 - 1989 - Held the position of Head Offices at different shops of “Gortsvatskhagustkoshikar” system.

1989 - 1991 - Director of the Department Store “Hagusti Tun.”

1991 - 2003 - Deputy Director of inter-regional universal wholesale base, then Director-General.

2007 - 2010 - Deputy Minister of Health Care of the Republic of Armenia.

2011 - 2012 - Head of the Council of Directors of Yerevan City Universal Base.

2003 - 2007 - Deputy of the National Assembly (proportional electoral system, RPA.) Member of the Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs of the National Assembly. Member of RPA faction. RPA member.

May 6, 2012 - Elected Deputy of the National Assembly by the proportional electoral system from the “Prosperous Armenia” party.

Married, with two children.
