Born on September 1, 1961 in the village of Azatashen in Ararat province.

2011 - Graduated from the faculty of Agronomy of the Armenian Agricultural Academy.

1989 - 1993 - Senior operator in Masis oil store.

1993 - 1997 - Headed the Masis Oil Products Company on importing and reprocessing oil products.

2000 - 2007 - Executive Director of “Masis Oil Products” CJC.

2007 - 2012 - Deputy of the National Assembly (electoral district #16.)

June 19, 2007 - May 31, 2012 - Member of the Standing Committee on Defense, National Security and Internal Affairs of the National Assembly.

May 6, 2012 - Elected Deputy of the National Assembly by the proportional electoral system from the “Prosperous Armenia” party. 

Married, with four children.
