Born on October 16, 1952 in the village of Ararat in the Ararat region.
1974 - Graduated from Yerevan Polytechnic Institute.
1985 - Graduated from Baku Party Higher School under the Central Committee of the Soviet Union Communist Party. Engineer-mechanic.
1974 - 1975 - Teacher at Ararat Industrial-Technical Vocational School.
1975 - 1980 - Chief mechanic at Ararat Gas Department.
1980-1983 and 1985-1990 at the Ararat Regional Committee of the Communist Party of Armenia (CPA) occupied different posts.
1990 - 1993 - Headed the Communications infrastructure in Ararat region.
1993 - 1996 - Deputy Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Ararat Regional Council. 1996 - 1998 - Head of Transport and Civil Engineering Division of the RA Ararat Regional Administration.
1998 - 1999 - Deputy Governor.
1998 - 1999 - Deputy of the National Assembly (electoral district # 111.) Member of the “Reforms” deputy group.
1999 - 2003 - Deputy of the National Assembly (proportional electoral system, RPA.) Member of the Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs of the National Assembly. Member of RPA faction.
2003 - 2007 - Deputy (proportional electoral system, RPA.) Member of RPA faction.
October 6, 2008 - Elected Deputy of the National Assembly by the proportional electoral system from the Republican Party of Armenian. Member of RPA board.
April 18, 2014 - Elected Deputy of the National Assembly by the proportional electoral system from the Republican Party of Armenian.
