2005 - Awarded Gold Medal by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Armenia on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of Yerevan State Medical University.

2005 - Awarded “Officier de l'Ordre National Du Merite” Medal for the development of professional cooperation and Armenian - French relations by J. Chirac, the President of French Republic.

2007 - Awarded “Mkhitar Heratsi” Medal.

2012 - Awarded the Jubilee Medal of the “Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia: 20 Years” by the decree of the Defense Minister of the Republic of Armenia.

2013 - Awarded the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic’s “Gratitude” Medal.

2014 - Awarded the Medals of Honor, “Saint Sahak - Saint Mesrop” by Catholicos Garegin II, the Supreme Patriarch of all Armenians.

2015 - Recipient of the President of the Republic of Armenia Award for scientific achievements in the field of medicine.

2016 - Awarded a second rank Order of Services to Motherland.

Authored 3 scientific inventions, 7 monographs and over 215 scientific publications.

Married, has two children and four grandchildren.
