Born on November 8, 1975 in Alaverdi.

1997 - Graduated from the Division of History of the Historical - Geographical faculty of the Kh. Abovian Armenian State Pedagogical Institute.

2000 - Postgraduate student of the Chair of the History of Armenia of the Armenian State Pedagogical Institute.

2006 - Sharmazanov also finished studies at the Moscow School of Political Research under the auspices of the Council of Europe. Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences.

1995 - Founded the “Zartonk” student Union in Alaverdi.

1997 - 1999 - Head of the Students’ Scientific Association of the Armenian State Pedagogical Institute (ASPI).

1999 - 2002 - Teacher of the educational complex #159.

2002 - 2005 - Chairman of the Students’ Board of the Armenian State Pedagogical Institute, Rector’s assistant, lecturer in the Chair of Armenian History in Armenian State Pedagogical University, and Deputy Chairman of the Youth Organization of the Republican Party of Armenia.

May 2005 - Nominated candidate for Mayor of Alaverdi.

2005 - 2007 - Aide to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia.

Since 2013 - The Associate Professor of the Chair of Political Institutions and Docent of the YSU Faculty of International Relations.

December 06, 2011 - May 31 - 2012 - Vice Chairman of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia. Member of the “Republican Party of Armenia” faction. RPA Media Speaker.

2012 - 2017 - Elected Deputy of the National Assembly (proportional electoral system RPA). Vice Chairman of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia. Member of the RPA faction. RPA Media Speaker.

April 2, 2017 - Elected Deputy of the National Assembly by the RPA national electoral list.

May 19, 2017 - Elected Vice Chairman of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia.

2003 - Awarded the Prime Minister’s letter of thanks and prize.

2005 - Awarded the “Haykyan” prize (“the best leader of the students’ self - government body”).

2006 - Awarded with the "Garegin Nzhdeh'' Medal of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia.

2008 - Awarded with the "Andranik Ozanyan" Medal (MD).

2009 - Awarded with the "Fridtjof Nansen" commemorative Gold Medal.

2011 - Awarded with the CIS Inter - Parliamentary Assembly Diploma and commemorative Medal.

2013 - Awarded with the Gold Medal of the Mayor of Yerevan and CSTO PA Diploma.

2015 - Awarded the “Mkhitar Gosh” Medal.

2015 - Awarded the “Cooperation” Order of CIS Inter - Parliamentary Assembly.

Author of scientific - journalistic articles; the author of the monologue “Garegin Nzhdeh and the Key Issues of Military Pedagogics.”
