Born on February 17, 1978 in the village of Spandaryan (Shirak province).
1999 - Graduated from the Faculty of History of the Yerevan State University.
2001 - Master’s Degree of the same University.
2003 - Graduated from the Lund University (Sweden) with a Master's Degree. Historian.
2004 - Master’s Degree of the YSU Chair of Ethnography. Ph.D. in history.
2003 - 2005 - Coordinator of the programs of “Civil Society” and “Mass Media” in the Armenian branch of the “Assistance Fund of the Institute of Open Society.”
2005 - 2006 - Adviser to the President of the National Assembly related to foreign policy and external relations.
April 2008 - Appointed an assistant to the President of the Republic of Armenia.
May 2008 - Press Secretary to the President of the Republic of Armenia.
2010 - 2012 - Director of information and analytical programs of the Public Television and the Public Radio Company of the Republic of Armenia.
2011 - 2015 - Lecturer in the History Department of the Yerevan State University.
1998 - 2001 - Headed the Student Scientific Society and Student Council of the YSU Faculty of History.
2006 - Established the NGO “Association of Armenian Graduates of Scientific and Educational Institutions in Sweden.”
Since 2012 - Member of the RPA Council.
2016 - Member of the RPA Executive Body.
2012 - 2017 - Member of the National Assembly (electoral district #2).
Member of the Standing Committee on Foreign Relations of the National Assembly.
Head of the Armenian Delegation of Armenia-EU Parliamentary Cooperation Committee.
Member of the RA NA Delegation to PACE. Member of the “Republican” (RPA) faction. Member of the RPA.
April 2, 2017 - Elected Member of the National Assembly from the RPA national electoral list.
Author of the monograph “The Japanese Miracle and the Japanese,” scientific publications.
