Born on April 5, 1950 in Yerevan.

1972 - Graduated from the Yerevan Polytechnic Institute. ECM (Electronic Calculating Machine) engineer.

1972 - 1997 - Engineer, senior scientific associate, head of subdivision, head of data processing unit at the Yerevan Scientific Research Institute of Mathematical Machines.

1998 - 1999 - Advisor to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia.

1997 - 1999 - Member of the National Assembly (proportional electoral system, “Republic” unification). Member of the “Republic” faction, then member of the “Yerkrapah” deputy group.

1999 - 2003 - Member of the National Assembly (proportional electoral system, “Unity” alliance). Member and later Chairman of the Standing Committee on Financial-Credit, Budgetary and Economic Affairs of the National Assembly.

2003 - 2007 - Member of the National Assembly (proportional electoral system, RPA). Chairman of the Standing Committee on Financial-Credit, Budgetary and Economic Affairs of the National Assembly. Member of the RPA faction.

2007 - 2012 - Member of the National Assembly (proportional electoral system, RPA).

June 7, 2007 - May 31, 2012 - Chairman of the Standing Committee on Financial - Credit, Budgetary Affairs of the National Assembly. Member of the “Republican Party of Armenia” faction. Member of the RPA Council.

2012 - 2017 - Member of the National Assembly (proportional electoral system, RPA. Chairman of the Standing Committee on Financial-Credit, Budgetary and Economic Affairs of the National Assembly. Member of the “Republican Party of Armenia” (RPA) faction.

April 2, 2017 - Elected Member of the National Assembly from the RPA national electoral list.

2016 - Awarded the second rank Medal “For Services Contributed to Motherland.”
