Born on January 17, 1945 in the village of Astkhaberd in Kotayk province.

1969 - Graduated from the Faculty of Horticulture of the Armenian Agricultural Institute. 1968 - Graduated from the Faculty of Political Economy of the University of Marxism-Leninism adjunct to the CPSU Central Committee.

1970 - 1973 - Executive Committee of the Abovyan District Council, Engineer-land Surveyor, Chair of the Planning Committee.

1973 - 1997 - Director of the Network of Cinemas of Abovyan.

1977 - 2014 - Director of the LLC “Kotayk District Network of Cinemas.”

Since 1995 - “Committee of Kurdistan” NGO, a member, then deputy chair.

2000 - Member of the Coordinating Council of National Minorities Organizations adjunct to the Staff of the President of the Republic of Armenia.

Since 2007 - Chair of the Council of the Public Organization "Kurdish National Council of Armenia," Chief Editor of the official periodical "Zagros" in Armenian (on a voluntary basis).

April 2, 2017 - Elected Member of the National Assembly from the RPA national electoral list.

Awarded the Letter of Gratitude of the President of the Republic of Armenia (2010).

Married, with two children.
