Born on August 9, 1963 in Yerevan.

1986 - Graduated from the Faculty of Economics of the Yerevan Agricultural Institute. Economist.

1986 - Economist of the Committee on Statistics of the Armenian SSR.

1994 -1995 - Deputy Commander of the Internal Troops of the Republic of Armenia.

1995 - 1996 - Director of the agency “Haymamul”.

1996 - Elected, 1999 - Re-elected Head of the Municipal District “Kentron.”

Participated in the Artsakh liberation battle. One of the Founders of the volunteer detachment “Spandaryan.”

1996 - 2002 - Deputy Chair of the Board of ANM.

2002 - 2010 - Chair of the Board of ANM.

Since 2013 - Chair of the ANM party.

April 2, 2017 - Elected Member of the National Assembly from the national electoral list of the “Tsarukyan” alliance of parties.

Married, with two children.
