Born on August 1, 1954 in the village of Jrashen in Armavir province.

1974 -1976 - Served in the Soviet Army.

1988 - Graduated from the Faculty of History and Law of the Yerevan State Pedagogical Institute named after Kh. Abovyan.

1971 - 1972 - Worker of the central station "Armglavenergo."

1972 - 1974 and 1977 - 1978 - Locksmith-worker in the green space office of the Myasnikyan district of Yerevan.

1978 - 1982 - a commodity expert, then an engineer of the All-Union Association “Soyuzintergazprom.”

1987-1994 - Teacher of the #149 Yerevan school.

1994 - 2002 - Teacher, Head of the Department of History of the Yerevan Shirakatsy Lyceum.
